The Louisiana Center for Prevention Resources

A statewide clearinghouse dedicated to enhancing behavioral health through innovative substance abuse education, resources, training, and advocacy to empower communities and support long-term wellness across Louisiana.

The Louisiana Center for Prevention Resources (LCPR) was established at the Nelson Mandela College of Government and Social Sciences, Department of Psychology at Southern University and A&M College.

The Center offers training and technical assistance services to healthcare and substance abuse prevention professionals. These services will be available to youth, communities and healthcare professionals, especially those who provide substance abuse prevention services.
